Virtualizor BGP Hijacking Incident (28-30 August 2026)

We are aware of a recently disclosed security incident involving a BGP hijack affecting Virtualizor update services hosted by Softaculous. During this event, internet traffic destined for certain Softaculous IP addresses was diverted to an unauthorised third party, resulting in a small number of Virtualizor installations receiving a compromised update package.

✓ After a thorough review, we can confirm that our infrastructure did not receive the compromised update and all nodes are unaffected by this incident.

This incident was external to our network and did not involve any breach of our systems. No customer data or services were impacted. We continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates if necessary.
